JAMB Form 2026/2027, Fees, Dates, Guidelines: JAMB Registration is a process that involves creating a personal email address, an active mobile phone number, a JAMB profile, obtaining a National Identification Number (NIN), buying a JAMB e-PIN, and completing the online registration form.
JAMB Form 2026/2027, Fees, Dates, Guidelines: The registration period for JAMB 2026/2027 is from 14th January 2026 to14th February 2026. The registration fee is N4,700, which includes the cost of the e-PIN, the novel, and the service charge.

Step 1: Create a Personal Email Address
You need a personal email address to create your JAMB profile and receive important information from JAMB. You can use any email service provider such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. Make sure you choose a simple and easy-to-remember email address that contains your name or initials.
For example: jamb@gmail.com or jamb@yahoo.com
To create an email address, visit the website of your preferred email service provider and follow the instructions. You will need to provide some personal details such as your name, date of birth, phone number, etc. You will also need to create a password and a security question.
After creating your email address, verify it by clicking on the link sent to your inbox. You can also add a recovery email or phone number in case you forget your password or lose access to your account.
Step 2: Get an Active Mobile Phone Number
You need an active mobile phone number to receive SMS alerts from JAMB and other relevant agencies. You can use any network provider such as MTN, Glo, Airtel, 9mobile, etc. Make sure you have enough airtime and data on your phone number.
You can also use the same phone number to create your NIN in the next step.
Step 3: Create Your JAMB Profile
You need a JAMB profile to access the online registration portal and other services offered by JAMB. To create your JAMB profile, you need your email address and phone number.
To create your JAMB profile, follow these steps:
- Send “NIN” followed by your 11-digit NIN number (e.g. NIN 12345678901) as an SMS to 55019 from your phone number. You will receive a confirmation code of 10 characters on the same phone number.
- Go to the JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng and click on “Create e-Facility Account/Login”.
- Enter your email address and select “Create Account”.
- A verification link will be sent to your email address. Click on it to verify your email address.
- Enter your confirmation code, password, and security question. Click on “Sign Up”.
- You have successfully created your JAMB profile. You can log in to your profile anytime using your email address and password.
Step 4: Obtain Your National Identification Number (NIN)
You need a National Identification Number (NIN) to register for JAMB 2026/2027. The NIN is a unique identifier issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to every Nigerian citizen and legal resident.

To obtain your NIN, follow these steps:
- Visit any NIMC enrollment center near you with your original and valid identification document such as your birth certificate, passport, driver’s license, voter’s card, etc.
- Fill and submit the enrollment form and have your biometric data captured.
- You will be issued a NIN slip containing your 11-digit NIN number and a QR code.
- You can also check your NIN status online at https://nimc.gov.ng/check-nin-status/ or by dialing *346# from your phone number.
Step 5: Buy Your JAMB e-PIN
You need a JAMB e-PIN to complete your online registration. The e-PIN is a unique code that contains your registration details and payment information. You can buy your e-PIN online or from any bank nationwide.

To buy your e-PIN online, follow these steps:
- Log in to your JAMB profile at www.jamb.gov.ng
- Click on “Purchase of Application Document”.
- Select “UTME” or “DE” depending on your choice of exam.
- Enter your personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, etc.
- Select your preferred payment method such as card, bank, USSD, etc.
- Make the payment of N4,700 and obtain your e-PIN.
To buy your e-PIN from any bank nationwide, follow these steps:
- Visit any bank branch that offers JAMB services.
- Present your confirmation code and NIN to the teller.
- Pay the sum of N4,700 and obtain your e-PIN.
Step 6: Complete Your Online Registration Form
You need to complete your online registration form to finalize your registration. The online registration form requires you to provide some information such as:
- Your details such as name, date of birth, gender, state of origin, etc.
- Your choice of course and institution
- Your O’level or A’level results
- Your UTME or DE subjects
- Your exam town and center
- Your passport photograph and biometric data
To complete your online registration form, follow these steps:
- Visit any accredited JAMB CBT center near you with your e-PIN and NIN slip.
- The CBT center will upload your passport photograph and biometric data using a scanner or webcam.
- The CBT center will also provide you with a computer and internet access to fill out and submit your online registration form.
- Review your information carefully before submitting it. You can make corrections or changes before submission but not after submission.
- Print out two copies of your registration slip. One copy will contain your exam schedule and center while the other copy will contain your details and subjects.
You have successfully registered for JAMB 2026/2027. Keep your registration slip safe as you will need it for verification and identification purposes.
